1. Today I was caused to remember (by Helen and Julie) how astoundingly helfpul the wise, amazing, knowledgeable teachers are at the school where my daughters attend. I have been so often and so thoroughly blessed by their counsel and graciousness. That went well because I was reminded of that, and because they are such amazing teachers, and because my amazing wife worked her little tush off practicing importunity in order to get them in as students there.
2. I got to see our friend Jana today, who I haven’t seen in a while, which was nice. That went well because Jana came over to have a playdate for E and C and C and E, and because Megan and I have such totally awesome friends.
3. I found out today that Meg and I get to attend the totally gnarley Off the Map “Hear Listen Connect” conference in November in Seattle. That went well because the conference web site went live today, and because we are connected with such an amazingly kewl organization with so many amazingly kewl people, and it’s in *Seattle*, which is where we live (very very very kewl!) Yippee. By the way, the conference is open for anyone to attend, and if you buy tickets by July 15, they’re only $79! Kewl.
