1. It was the first day of summer, and it behaved appropriately, and all that sunshine sets off lovely and greatly to be desired cascades of chemical responses in Benjamin’s nervous system, which leads to a general feeling of well being. That went well because we are in the better half of our annual journey around Sol, and I didn’t get so off kilter during the worst half this year, so I am better able to enjoy it (or something).
2. I went to a 12 step group tonite, which I haven’t done in a while, and I found it, as usual, refreshing, invigorating, … amazingly helpful. That went well because 12 step groups generally rocketh, and because I got off my duff and went.
3. I aced my abnormal exam (as in abnormal psych, not as in the exam itself was abnormal)–50 out of 50 mulitple choice questions answered correctly–and thus saved a 3.9 in what looked like probably only a 3.7 situation. Yeehaw. That went well because I spent 12 hours yesterday pouring copious amounts of abnormal psych info into my poor befuddled brain. Now I can let it all drain out. It doesn’t actually, though, because what I find is that the next time I am exposed to the information, i remember it more quickly, more easily, etc. But I digress.
The problem with this blog, I realized, is that one has the feeling one is obliged to limit oneself to three. And that can be problematic when others crowd forward clamoring to be heard. Not a bad problem to have, I suppose =)
