1. My lovely wife fell asleep in my arms today. There is something so undeniably trusting and intimate and delightful about someone you love falling asleep in your arms while you’re still awake. That happened because she intended to go to sleep, while I intended to stay awake, and because she trusts me, and loves me, and vice versa
2. I had a super brilliant time with my great friends Jim and Eliza visiting Seattle Mennonite Church this morning and then at our house for a super brilliant lunch cooked by my super brilliant wife. That went well because we planned it, and followed through, and I have super awesome friends, and a super awesome wife.
3. I had a really lovely time with Karl and Susan and Jonathan and Melanie and Saige and Thalia and Ruth at the park and then at our house for biccies afterwards. That went well because I called Karl to set up a play date at the park for Eowyn and Saige, and all these other lovely people came too, and then we retired to our house for biccies afterwards and had lovely and fascinating conversation.
